BOLD Rice Bubble Slice

A treat that's crunchy, sweet and easy to make!

Bold Rice Bubble Slice

The perfect morning or afternoon treat this slice combines the delicious flavours of Bold and peanut butter with the satisfying crunch of rice puffs. Makes 10-12 serves. 


  • 3 scoops Bold protein powder
  • 4 cups rice puffs of your choice
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¾ cup brown rice syrup
  • Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh vanilla or vanilla extract

1. Take out a square tin and grease with the coconut oil, place this to the side for now.

2. Melt the peanut butter until it is smooth and will be easily mixed

3. Combine the melted peanut butter, brown rice syrup, protein powder and vanilla in a bowl. If the mixture is too thick to add a little melted coconut oil so that you will be able to stir through and coat the rice puffs. 

4. Add rice puffs to the peanut butter mixture gently folding with a wooden spoon until combined

5. Pour mixture into the pan spreading evenly and gently patting down with the back of the spoon so the mix is compact.

6. Place into freezer for at least 30 minutes then remove and cut into squares

Rice syrup is very sticky and is what holds this recipe together, do not substitute this ingredient. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or in the freezer for 2 weeks. 


  • Mix in 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips of your choice 
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of chocolate and drizzle on top
  • Replace peanut butter with Nutella for a delicious hazelnut twist
